Membership for the new season now open
Dear Member,
As the winter months come to an end, we hope you are looking forward to getting on court and playing tennis, hopefully under warmer skies. Also, tennis is regularly mentioned as one of the best ways to get fit and stay healthy.
It’s also that time when we have to ask for your 2025 subscription. It is never a great time to pay annual membership fees but a subscription at Chorley Tennis Club gives a full year’s tennis on our 5 floodlit courts which, at our below-average rates, continues to be of tremendous value.

Remember, if it’s a stretch, you can spread the cost with three monthly instalments and the relatively small dent in your bank account will be long forgotten when you’re belting the ball around in the summer sunshine.
As you’ll know, we’re a not-for-profit club supporting the local community which is encouraging adults and budding juniors of all abilities to play tennis. This means that we rely heavily on your continued support to make ends meet and we really value your membership.
We’ve continued to invest a lot of money into our facilities in recent years and will continue to do so this coming year. We hope you’re still happy with our facilities and we’re always looking at further improvements we can make.
These improvements don’t come cheap and costs have increased sharply in the last year. We have tried to apply only the necessaryincrease to the annual fee to cover the cost increases in order to encourage as many people as possible to play tennis this coming year.
As a not-for-profit club, we continue to help our members as much as we can in these challenging times so we really need as many members as possible to renew and hopefully recommend friends, neighbours and family to join too.
Our major expenses also come at the start of the tennis year so it’s really important that we get your membership fee early on. We continue to work hard to manage costs and your continued support of our local community club is very much appreciated.
Your membership fees are due by 1st April. You can pay directly into the club’s bank account, by cheque or in three instalments by standing order. The online membership renewal/application form is the easiest way to fill in your details.
The club website has further details of membership information including membership categories and the online membership renewal/application link is here: Chorley Tennis Club - Online Membership Form
We are excited about a full season of social tennis, club tournaments and competitive league tennis in 2025 and it’s important to note that you can play in the Bolton and Ribble leagues ONLY IF you’ve paid your membership fees before your first match.
Thanks again for your support and let’s hope for great weather and an enjoyable 2025 tennis season.
